Mum

Wee issy as you were know and loved by everyone who knew you.You were a loving mother to Charles,Edward,Robert,Angela and David. Angela was waiting for you on that fateful day your were so sadly taken from us. I knew you were there when i got married (a day we both never thought would happen)but sadly just in spirit. You never got a chance to meet your daughter-in-law and she never got the chance to know what a wonderful person you were.I hope your watching over your gran-children you never got to meet as they grow through the years. You are sadly missed by all. Till we meet again sleep tight. Your are and always will be a mum in a million.
Love you
Robert

your so special to me

I thought I saw her face today
In the sparkle of the morning sun.
And then I heard the angel say
“Her work on earth is done.”

I thought I heard her voice today
Then laugh her hearty laugh.
And then I heard the angel say
“There’s peace little one at last.”

I thought I felt her touch today
In the breeze that rustled by.
And then I heard the angel say
“The spirit never dies.”

I thought that she had left me
For the stars so far above.
And then I heard the angel say
“She left you with her love.”

I thought that I would miss her
And never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say
“She’s with you every day.”

You were a precious gift from God above,
so much beauty, grace and love.
You touched our hearts in so many ways,
your smile so bright even on the bad days.
You heard God's whisper calling you home,
you didn't want to go and leave us alone.
You loved us so much, you held on tight,
till all the stregnth was gone and you could no longer fight.
He had called your name twice before,
you knew you couldn't make him wait anymore.
So you gave your hand to God and slowly drifted away,
knowing that with our love we will be together again some day.

Happy Mothers Day.

A Mother loves right from the start.
She holds her baby close to her heart.
The bond that grows will never falter.
Her love is so strong it will never alter.

A Mother gives never ending Love.
She never feels that she has given enough.
For you she will always do her best.
Constantly working, there's no time to rest.

A Mother is there when things go wrong.
A hug and a kiss to help us along.
Always there when we need her near.
Gently wipes our eyes when we shed a tear.

So on this day shower your Mother with Love.
Gifts and presents are nice but that is not enough.
Give your Mother a day to have some peace of mind.
Be gentle, be good, be helpful, be kind.

We thought of you with love today.
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart..

In heaven above

I've just popped on your memorial..
To send you some love..
For a special Angel..
In heaven above

You are greatly missed..
By your family below
Why God took your hand..
They will never know.

You were loved so much..
And nobody could compare
For you are a their special Angel..
In heaven up there.

Heaven has an Angel..
That walks with God above
Heaven has an Angel..
And watches you with love

Heaven has an Angel..
That makes our dreams come true
Heaven has an Angel..
And that Angel is you

Heaven has an Angel..
With wings that glow so bright
Heaven has an Angel..
That watches us day and night

Heaven has an Angel..
So full of love and beauty
Your Angel keeps you safe from harm..
'Cos that's your Angel's duty

Passing on

When we lose the ones we love
it leaves an empty space
within our hearts, and life seems vain
for none can take their place

And oh, we long to catch a glimpse
of that dear face now gone
and hear that loving voice
now raised in Heaven's song

But if we could pull back the veil
and see beyond our shores
then we would see them yet again-
but just through yonder door

And as we grieve, they'd raise their hand
to wipe away our tears
For they see and understand
that there's no cause for fears

For death is but a passing on
through yet another door
where they are welcomed home again
to dwell forever more

Waiting at the Door

I can’t explain so deep inside
The very fabric of my soul
Only a heart that grieves such loss
Can ever truly understand

It’s like you’re waiting at the door
Until a loved one comes back home
You feel a longing in your heart
When they appear the longing stops

But in a loss that never ends
You’re always standing at that door
You feel the longing in the breeze
So incomplete and never filled

I cannot find the words to say
Just what it’s like to want forever
Never seeing them again
Just always waiting at the door

To My Dearest Family,
Some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know,
That I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from heaven.
Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness;
Here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy
Just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you
Every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you
When my life on earth was through.
God picked me up and hugged me
And He said, "I welcome you.

It's good to have you back again,
You were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family,
They'll be here later on.

There's so much that we have to do,
To help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things,
That he wished for me to do.

And foremost on the list,
Was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night
The day's chores put to flight.

God and I are closest to you....
In the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth,
And all those loving years.

Because you are only human,
They are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry:
It does relieve the pain.

Remember there would be no flowers,
Unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you
All that God has planned.

If I were to tell you,
You wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain,
Though my life on earth is o'er.

I'm closer to you now,
Than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads
Ahead of you and many hills to climb;

But together we can do it
By taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy
And I'd like it for you too;

That as you give unto the world,
The world will give to you.
If you can help somebody
Who's in sorrow and pain;

Then you can say to God at night......
"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....
That my life was worthwhile.

Knowing as I passed along the way
I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody
Who is sad and feeling low;

Just lend a hand to pick him up,
As on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street
And you've got Me on your mind;

I'm walking in your footsteps
Only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go....
From that body to be free.

Remember you're not going.....
You're coming here to Me.
